Sichuan Huanglong Airport Jiuzhai Limited Liability Company was officially established by the Sichuan Provincial Government in the August 6, 1998. The airport is 12 km northeast from the Chuanzhusi County, Songpan town, 88 km from the Jiuzhaigou Valley, and 53 km from Huanglong.
