No trip to China is complete without an adventure to the world-famous, spellbinding Yangtze River and its Three Gorges via Orient Royal Cruise-East King, China's only five-star deluxe cruiser awarded by National Tourism Administration in year 1997. In early 2006, Orient Royal Cruise has completed an intensive renovation of East King. Dubbed as the most expensive "facelift" in Yangtze River Cruise history, the renovation program has set a new standard of luxury on the Yangtze River. The super deluxe Yangtze Explorer Cruise will be launched in August 2008.

No trip to China is complete without a cruise on the world-famous, spellbinding Yangtze River and our five-star cruises do not disappoint. Owners of the prestigious and only official five-star cruise ships in China, the mv. East King Cruise and Yangtze Explorer Cruise, the Orient Royal Cruise Company is one of the few leading western-oriented cruise operators to course the mighty Yangtze. Charting exclusive 3 and 4 night itineraries through the spectacular Three Gorges between Yichang and Chongqing, our river trips promise unparalleled adventure, combining unabashed luxury with majestic scenery and fascinating cultural attractions.

Not stymied by the annual floods or maintenance operations that prevent other cruise lines from operating all year long, our ships are able to cruise the Yangtze year-round. Going both upstream or downstream, our passengers will enjoy a non-stop parade of scenic attractions which include the treacherous Xiling Gorge, the idyllic Wu Gorge, flanked by a medley of craggy peaks and intriguing rock formations, and Qutang Gorge, renowned not only for its abundant historical relics and cultural heritage, but for its impressive mountainous landscape as well. Our tours also include a variety of guided shore excursions to offer passengers a first-hand glimpse of the unique and awe-inspiring sights found off the beaten track in interior China. Highlights include seeing the ancient cliff coffins, road ruins and Chinese Folk Dance performances at Shennong Stream; exploring historic temples at Shibaozhai and, weather level and, touring the silk factory at Wanxian.
