Start off from the urban area of Yichang, 20 minutes on the Yixing Highway by bus will bring us to Yiling District. In the district, a small island in the river is just our destination, the national AAA class interesting place, the Garden of the Chinese Sturgeon.

The Chinese Sturgeon is one of the ancient species that has ever been living with the dinosaurs. About 100 million years ago, the dinosaurs were annihilated, but the Chinese Sturgeon survived. Today, it's the living fossil that lets us know many things about the ancient earth.

There are the specimens of the Chinese Sturgeon and the White Sturgeon. Meanwhile, in the museum, you can see the other 7 kinds of sturgeons, the Yangtze Crocodile, the mullet, the giant salamander, and colorful tropical fishes.
