Situated in the northwest to the city of Yichang, the cave is about 10 kms away from the urban area. Back to back with the Yangtze River, it faces to the Xialao Stream, and is almost surrounded by the water. Like a pearl held in the mouth of the Xiling Gorge, you cannot imagine how fascinating the inside is until enter the cave.

In the cliffs, the cave is divided into two rooms. It's about 20 meters wide, 10 meters high and 30 meters deep. Standing at the entrance are 3 stalactites in a line. Many incripments of poems and epigraphy can be found on the walls both inside and outside of the cave. Besides, there are also Happy Here Pavilion, Stage of the Drum Beating by General Zhang Fei, Chusai Building in this scenic spot.
